My X1 has been 100% stock because its just works so well. However, this upgrade solves all the things that made my X1 such a pain: different nozzles from all of my other printers, slower heating times, and the complete pain when changing nozzle diameters (the worst experience on these printers). Now all of my printers share the same Revo hotends, and I can swap on the fly!!
Flow rate is fantastic, and I got a 40% faster print with an obxidian 0.6mm than the equivalent hardened bambu nozzle with ABS-GF filament. I had to crank up the settings in orcaslicer, but I got the install and updates in less than 30 minutes, not including the calibration check.
I still have some oozing, given the improved flow, and the wires to the hotend could have been about 5mm longer, but these are nitpicks on what is probably the best upgrade I’ve had for any 3D printer!!!
Seems to work pretty well, however I think it would work best on a fesh, clean nozzle since I'm still getting some filament sticking to it. Overall it is good stuff.
This is really good stuff. I used some for my homeade bean dip the other day and was exactly the kind of spice I needed. 10/10
Great little board!
Note: This is a revised version (V2.4) ...bad number for revision! ...gets mixed up with Voron V2.4.
I replace my V1.0 because I inadvertantly plugged it in wrong and cooked it. This new board fit right in mechanically with no mods. Upon power, I love the red/blue led indicator. Makes it very easy to see when it is triggered. I did have an issue. It did not trigger Klipper. My old V1.O board did just fine but this new one did not. I could not find a schematic to see what actually changed. I was able to verify that the output line was changing. On my system from tap down at 0.0v to around 1.34v tap up. I was also able to verify that the pin (PB9) on my EBB36 was working fine as well. I found that changing my printer.cfg settings from EBBCan:PB9 to ^EBBCan:PB9 did the trick. Adding that circumflex, Klipper's trick to use a pull-up resistor on the STM32G0B1CBT6 chip of the EBB36 took care of my issue. It's working great now.
Awesome hotend. Works great and will be reliable for a long time. Rock solid construction
Purchased, took sometime to get the tracking moving. Website said 5-7 days mine took 16. This said its a high quality made to order CnC bed. Contacted CS and they where very very responsive. As of what i received, the bed is huge and super flat. Very happy with the purchase. Will buy again. This quality at this price is something special.
Fit it onto my V0 bed and the additional 20W over a standard 100W faster is FANTASTIC. Thank you West3D!
Exactly what you would hope for. I've put one inside the extrusions and another on the outside front.
Like many (most?) SV08 owners, my bed was a taco. I ordered this bed directly from Mandala as soon as it was available. It was easy to install, fit directly in place of the factory bed. I did have a little re-wiring to do as I replaced to tiny stock power supply and SSR, so I can't comment as far as how it worked with stock components. It has been a stellar upgrade. My bed map shows a range of 0.110 as measured using the BDSensor eddy probe.
Awesome product! Custom gifs for each state of the printer, and a constant display of job percentage.
This boatd is great, plug and play no messing around! Pass through works flawless!
ordered this kit the 26th, arrived super fast and all of the extrusions are machined super well, while at first the was a problem with the screws not coming in the package, the customer support did reach out to me and it was resolved, hoping to continue to get high quality parts from them in the future
Going to use this PCB 3 Pin JST-XH splitter for some SK6812 RGBW on my Box Turtle.
I went with the double sided textured PEI cause I print a ton and abuse my build plates. Textured surface leaves a nice Satin finish to your printed parts. This textured is more subtle when compared to typical textured PEI. ABS and ASA stick really good with a clean sheet from any oils and greases.
Very happy and can't wait to see how many print hours I'll get out of it.
This filament has been simple to print with while achieving consistently great results. Just as important for my sculptures, post processing is a breeze compared to many other filaments.
Purchased an E3D Revo kit (Hot and cold side) from #West3D to upgrade a Prusa Mini+. I can say it is an amazing upgrade! Used to have to do cold pulls every few prints to fix flow issues. With this kit, I have been printing day and night for a week (building a Voron V2.4) and it hasn't messed up yet. Prints are smooth and beautiful.
I've purchase 4 rolls of Ambrosia ASA filament so far from #West3D and it is excellent. I am printing on a MK4S and a Mini+ and see little to no stringing, excellent bed adhesion, and no delamination. For small parts, printing outside of an enclosure even works. The colors are very vibrant (KB3D Orange, Galactic Green, and Black printed so far).
After missing a decimal and imprinting my first build plate I ordered 2 from West3D. They are amazing quality and the adhesion has been awesome. Easy to clean. I order both the black and the regular dual sided and really happy with both. West3D has been amazing to order and work with.
After missing a decimal and destroying my first build plate I ordered 2 from West3D. They are amazing quality and the adhesion has awesome. Easy to clean.
Got this installed on my SV08, and I’m very happy with it. Compared to the original gantry it’s practically weightless. The install was fairly straightforward, however, I would recommend double checking your belts for the gantry, and if they need it, replace them at the same time as installing the new gantry.
